- Concept: During the evolution of the Antarctica project, the artists have designed a new series of survival kits that take on the form of life jackets and parachutes. As in many of their works, we find an explicit reference to the tools and objects of emergency rescue missions. In this case, the model is an inflatable life saver utilized for emergency rescues. Like the Drop Parachutes, the life jackets are made with a composition of gloves, webbing and flags of different nations, and as in the earlier Survival Kits the objects that make up the kit refer to both physical/material survival and, symbolically, to the spiritual needs of man, like the recovery of a lost social dimension of solidarity. Life Line are objects of textual communication, with slogans and words related to the themes of the artists’ works on their surfaces.
